The Clino® One Way Premium disposable wipe, a microfibre wipe made of 100% polyester, is characterised by very good and gentle cleaning performance, even with oily and dusty contamination. Even though it is made of purely synthetic fibres, the wipe has a sufficient absorption capacity. The chemical resistance is given with acids (peracetic acid), alkalis (caustic soda, nitric acid), bleaching agents, solvents (isopropanol, acetone, benzene compounds). The wipes are primarily used in areas that are controlled purely by particles, but can also be used at any time in microbiological controlled zones. Cutting is done by laser, which simultaneously seals the edges. The wipes are then professionally decontaminated in a cleanroom laundry and packed under ISO 5 conditions. Due to the cleanroom-compatible post-cleaning, the wipes have relatively low levels of ionic and metallic contamination.
Facts
Special requirements
Microfibre wipe, knitted, 100% PES
Properties
- 100% polyester
- microfibre filament knit fabric
- laser cut and sealed edges
- decontaminated in a cleanroom laundry
- vacuum-packed twice in PE film in a cleanroom
- also available as gamma-irradiated version on request
Advantages
- chemically resistant
- very low emission of particles, fibres and extractable substances
- non-abrasive, no scratching of sensitive surfaces
- high and residue-free absorbency and absorption of impurities such as dust and oil-based contaminants
Applications
- effective removal of particulate and organic contamination
- very suitable for wiping highly sensitive surfaces, e.g. LCD or optical surfaces
- for polishing and cleaning of product surfaces, e.g. magnetic heads
Product recommendation based on cleanroom classes
Of course, cleanroom wipes used in ISO 5 can also be used in ISO 9, but in this case the economic efficiency and usefulness should be considered.
A 1 to 1 allocation of cleanroom wipes to an air cleanliness class according to ISO 14644-1 is not possible. Recommendations can only be made on the basis of special properties relevant from a cleanroom technical point of view, such as "abrasion resistance" or "particle emission". Users can find further information on this in VDI Guideline 2083 Part 9.2.
